Jurassic Park

Popcorn reviews, Poster of Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park (1993) was a movie that completely exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning, the film captured my attention with the suspenseful opening scene as the workers were trying to transport a cage containing a Velociraptor to its enclosure. I was immediately on the edge of my seat, and it only got better from there.

The visuals in the movie were breathtaking. The dinosaurs looked like they could jump right out of the screen! The attention to detail was incredible, and it was fascinating to learn about how the vfx team brought the extinct creatures to life.

The cast in Jurassic Park was outstanding. Jeff Goldblum was absolutely phenomenal, and he brought a sense of levity to the dark situation. Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Richard Attenborough all played their roles perfectly.

One of the things I appreciated most about the movie was the script. It was thrilling and suspenseful, but also thought-provoking. The idea of humans playing God and the consequences that come with that power was explored throughout the film.

Overall, Jurassic Park is a timeless classic that I would recommend to anyone. It has everything – action, adventure, suspense, humor, and heart. It truly is a masterpiece of cinema, and it’s easy to understand why it has become such an iconic film over the years.

Lesson about Jurassic Park

The movie Jurassic Park 1993 teaches us that playing with nature and technology can have disastrous consequences.

The Best of Jurassic Park

  • 1) Innovative Use of CGI: The movie Jurassic Park is known for its innovative use of computer-generated imagery (CGI). The visual effects team used cutting-edge technology to create realistic dinosaurs that interact with the human characters in the film. The breakthrough technology revolutionized special effects in the film industry and set a new standard for future movies.
  • 2) Engaging Plot: The movie has a gripping plot that keeps the viewer on edge throughout. The story is centered on the Jurassic Park theme park, where scientists have successfully cloned dinosaurs. The conflict arises when a group of visitors, including two paleontologists and two children, get stranded in the park when the electric fences are shut down. The suspenseful and thrilling narrative keeps the audience invested in the film until the very end.
  • 3) Impressive Direction: Jurassic Park was directed by the legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg. His masterful direction and attention to detail created a believable world where dinosaurs that are extinct for millions of years could be resurrected. The director’s vision and his ability to create tension and drama in the scenes make Jurassic Park an all-time classic.

Week points of Jurassic Park

  • 1. Lack of character development – While the movie has some iconic characters such as Dr. Ian Malcolm and John Hammond, the film does not fully develop the other characters. This leads to a lack of emotional connection and investment in their survival during the crisis.
  • 2. Scientific inaccuracies- The movie takes many liberties with the science behind the concept of cloning dinosaurs. Some of the dinosaur species featured in the movie were portrayed inaccurately, including the velociraptor which is much larger in the film than its real-life counterpart.
  • 3. Overreliance on special effects – The groundbreaking special effects used in Jurassic Park may have been a significant achievement at the time, but today they may appear dated and overused. The movie sometimes leans too heavily on these effects to the point of overshadowing the characters and story.
