James Stewart: The Career of an American Icon

Stewart also served in the military during World War II, joining the United States Army Air Corps. He went on to fly 20 combat missions, including several as a squadron commander, earning several military honors, including the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal for Meritorious Service.

Throughout his career, Stewart won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild award for his film performances. He also received a Lifetime Achievement award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The legacy of James Stewart lives on, as he continues to inspire many actors today with his contributions to the film industry.
